Happy New Year!

Welcome to 2013, all you vintage camper lovers! If you are like me, you're already thinking of warm sunny days and the trips you can your unique little piece of camping history can go.

Our girl needs a good exterior cleaning when spring comes, I can tell you that. She spent 2011 out in the rain, but we put her under a portable carport this season so she's more protected. We'll get out the warm soapy water, soft sponges and a ladder and clean her up, then put a new layer of Sno-Coat on the top to protect her year round.

What type of routine care do you give your vintage camper? And what groups/rallies are you involved in this year? Give them a shout out in a comment!

  1. We have it seems to be from DMV a 1965 mobile scout camper but we have not seen anything close to our style. I would love to send photo's if that would help. The tounge has been extended so I can't locate serial number but license plate is stamped 1863 and want to confirm. I there anyone who can help?

  2. I am sorry the year is not 1865, it say's 1965

  3. Is there anyone out there that can direct me to any information for a 1965 mobile scout? we have DMV that displays 65 but licence stamped is 63 but have not seen any type or style of the overhang we have. No outside markings, Tongue has been extended so no id numbers. I will attach photo and hope will help.

Don't forget, if you have a Mobile Scout, let me know! Send me some pics of your little camper.
