I just acquired a 1972 mobile scout trailer, its 22' long with the butt. I'd love to get more information on it, pictures, floor plans etc;. Sadly the bathroom at the rear on the trailer has been gutted completely and I'm not sure what it should look like. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you
Is Mobile Scout Madness still active? If so I would like to know if MS ever made a truck bed camper (60's)? Is it possible they would have custom made one for a local customer here in north Texas? I think I may have it.
I just bought a 63 mobile scout with great bones, no leaks. I was told that the ioconic triangular window in the door is an abstaction of the shape of Texas. Can anyone confirm this?

I must give a shout out to BloggerStop.net for the great, simple instructions for making this happen.
Get your Mobile Scout stickers!
I've designed modern stickers from images I've found of the logo on campers, in ad materials, etc. There are two types:
Red and blue retro stickers are 8" wide.
The orange and black are 6" wide.
They are available for purchase via PayPal. $4 will get you one of each, sent right to your door.
If you want one sticker, or multiples of one or both designs, no problem. Just count up how many stickers you want, multiply that by $2 and drop me a PayPal payment, with clear instructions on what you want. I'll get them out to you.
Stickers are mailed once a week, usually on Sundays.

ReplyDeleteYes, we're here. Or, rather, I'm here.
ReplyDeleteIt's quite possible; camper manufacturing during that time was often off the cuff and fast and furious.
The company itself no longer exists, and the one historian I had contact with who used to design and work there has gone silent for over a year. :-(

ReplyDeleteThat sounds like wishful thinking to me.
