I just got a marketing email from Vintage Trailer Supply showing tons of awesome books it had that might make great gifts for the holidays. So many awesome things. Check them out!
Hello, I have recently purchased a partially restored Mobile Scout 17. I am hoping to restore the original stove/oven and I believe the original propane fridge works. Any information on this effort is appreciated!
The cabinets were all original, and on the inside of the upper right cabinet against the outside (over the stove) was a pasted page that showed the unit's model number and year. And if that is missing, you can find the year as part of the VIN, which is welded into the underside of the tongue. So get out your flashlight, lay on your back, and get looking! You need to get under there to see what shape the undercarriage is in, anyway

I must give a shout out to BloggerStop.net for the great, simple instructions for making this happen.
Get your Mobile Scout stickers!
I've designed modern stickers from images I've found of the logo on campers, in ad materials, etc. There are two types:
Red and blue retro stickers are 8" wide.
The orange and black are 6" wide.
They are available for purchase via PayPal. $4 will get you one of each, sent right to your door.
If you want one sticker, or multiples of one or both designs, no problem. Just count up how many stickers you want, multiply that by $2 and drop me a PayPal payment, with clear instructions on what you want. I'll get them out to you.
Stickers are mailed once a week, usually on Sundays.
